Ride for the Cure
Breast Cancer... The very words will strike terror into the hearts of even the strongest of women. Acknowledging and accepting it is difficult and even more difficult is the road traveled while fighting it.
Our own New Hampshire Horse Council Trails Liaison and Board Member, Debbie Briscoe has been on this road now since October 2009.
The emotional, physical and financial strain is enormous. Out of work, watching finances dwindle, worrying about maintaining a household, feeding a horse, paying bills, etc., takes energy away from the physical process of recovery. Debbie still has a long road to travel to recovery. So, Debbie's friends are stepping up to help and support a friend in need.
Join us at a Benefit Trail Ride on October 2, 2010.
The Derry Trail Riders and Rockingham Riding Club have joined together to organize and host their own local Ride for the Cure to benefit Debbie's fight against this dread disease. Please follow the link below to read more about the ride, what you can do to help and how to join us on October 2nd...
